Work from Home While Your Children are Distance-Learning
So, most often, I talk homeschooling, because that’s what I do. However, I know I have readers who are trying to work from home and implement distance-learning with children who might be struggling with independent learning. I don’t envy you!
Last Spring, my sons were each enrolled in a class in the public school, plus we were mostly homeschooling. Implementing a distance learning plan was difficult (and annoying). It’s like you’re in charge, but you’re not actually in charge. Maybe I’m just a control freak! In any case, working from home and implementing a distance-learning plan is tricky, at best, and downright disastrous at worst!
One of my readers asked for help on this very topic…and so this resource was born!
I used to work as a student-success coach for multiple colleges. I worked with a lot of moms who were trying to work a full-time job, help their children with their homework, and get their own college courses completed. Sometimes, you need to get a little creative, but it can be done!
I’m sure you can understand the similarities between that and working from home while helping your kids complete a distance learning plan! Equally challenging, I’m sure! But there is hope and there is help!
In this 5-day Mini E-Course, I share my best tips for getting things done…including working from home and immersing yourself into your child’s world of distance learning.
And while it is specific to distance learning, much of it would also correlate with homeschooling. Obviously, they are similar in many ways!
